Assemblymember Gipson's End of Life Workshop

Today I helped with Assemblymember Gipson's end of life workshop hosted at the the Compton Civic Center. This was my first week as an intern, so I was excited at the opportunity to attend my first community event. I shadowed Aide, a Senior Field Representative for Assemblymember Gipson, and she showed me what it is like to run an event. This workshop was aimed at informing those in low-socioeconomic communities about their options when it comes to trust and wills, medical care, and more. At the event, I helped with signing people in, setting up the information table with resources, and answering constituents' questions.
